I have stayed at the Hotel Windsor on numerous occasions. My most recent booking Sunday, March 1st 2026 was sub standard. The reception staff allowed the phone to ring out twice when on arrival we needed to contact them re valet parking, and we finally checked in, the reception staff were quite rude. The Twin bed room was noisy, and the beds were very uncomfortable, hard and lumpy. The air conditioner was also very noisy. Friendly staff. Very classy rooms. Looks dated but it just adds the history and character to it. AC takes time to cool down during the warmer months. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay.

The Windsor Hotel claims to be 5 star, yet the level of service seems like they are doing you a favour !!!!! I just dropped off a bottle of champagne to put in a couple's room. They are getting married, with reception ant the Windsor and staying the weekend. Dealing with the front desk (not concierge) to work out what my options were, (ie keep it in a cold place, not leave it outside warm etc) was like getting water out of a stone. Ein schreckliches Hotel für viel Geld. Ich war mit einer Reisegruppe leider 3 Nächte im Hotel. Würde das Hotel nie buchen. Mit dem Koffer kam ich zu meinem Zimmer, habe es mit der Karte aufgemacht und es war bereits jemand drin! Es lagen Sachen vom anderen Gast! Ich hätte alles mitnehmen können. Musste wieder mit dem schweren Koffer zu reception um das zu klären. Soviel zum Concierge Service! Hatte dann mit der Gleiche Zimmerkarze neue Zimmer Nummer zugewiesen bekommen ohne die magnetische Karte zu tauschen . Passen die Kart... read more
