It's a quirky hotel, but very cool. Has karaoke and an old school lift elevator
Small clean room in the heart of the city.
The pro of this hotel is the location in Providence, very central. But unfortunately they are many cons to outweigh it: - The retro elevator, which can be cool but is annoying to use with extra baggage. Our room was also on the fifth floor, and the elevator only goes up to the fourth floor. So we had to carry our suitcases up a flight of stairs (no staff offered to help either). This isn’t noted anywhere on their website or prior to our stay! - The shower space is extremely small. We also dealt with hot water issues one morn... read more
Nice hotel, nice vibe inside. Efficient and good value for one night. I enjoyed the layout of the room... it was also quiet and private. No amenities and the elevator is old and small, but easy walk up the stairs to my room on the second floor. Close (within half mile) to a lot of great places to walk to (Providence Place, State House, Courthouse, Bajnotti fountain, Biltmore Park, Convention center, train station, etc.)
Room was nice in size and cleanliness but for the price i wouldn't recommend.Got put above the private karaoke room. Blasted music till 2 am. Then when that stopped the drag races on the street outside started. Following morning didn't have hot water to shower before it was time to checkout .
