Bar closed. Restaurant closed. Internet sucks. TV doesn’t work. Elevator can fit next to nothing. Bathroom in the better room of the two was beyond small and dark. You’re better off at a more traditional product so at least you get reasonable, working services.
THANK YOU for allowing cats!!! I can't thank Neptune enough for welcoming my cats. When we discovered mold in our apartment due to our landlord's negligence, we suddenly needed a place to stay, and that meant finding somewhere for the whole family, cats included, or we'd have been out on the street. Unfortunately, only one other hotel in Boston allows cats, and it was fully booked. Definitely not as advertised. The bathroom was bigger than the room. That was the only highlight. The room was so tiny I could not walk around the bed. The bed was also on the floor ... A platform bed which is just horrible for a taller person or if you have any sort of disability. Barely any space for anything. No refrigerator no microwave. No closet, no drawers. What a cool spot! The architecture and old fashion “lift” (elevator) were so cool. The rooms are very small, but very clean and well thought out. The beds are pretty comfortable. The service was excellent. Brian went above and beyond to simplify small details for us which I totally appreciated. I would be remiss if I did not mention Fernandie who was there when we checked in and when we checked out. We’ve been coming here for the past five years and have always enjoyed the decor and location in the heart of Providence. I will see the older we get we are starting to outgrow these rooms and the tiny showers that frequently overflow are not as comfortable. After being rebranded the Neptune, we have noticed a decrease in room amenities, such as waters and snacks As well as different Bath products.
