You wait 5 hours for pain meds. Nurses lack empathy could care less that one is in pain level 10. Window doesn't have a curtain sun blaring down on you, nurse says nothing can be done!
I don't know what's happened since my last visit here... maybe it's the weekend staff, but if my wife and kids hadn't have brought some bottled water with them earlier, I wouldn't have had any all day. I asked my first nurse at 9:00AM to bring me some water. Then my family came to visit, so I didn't ask again until around 4:00 PM for water again. I checked in at 10 am seating for 3 hours until a young lady that first told me where to go so I did n she just happened to pass by where I was seating and she saw me still Seating there s she got my paper work and did it herself n when I asked the man what the hold up was he told that I would have to wait cause he was going to lunch, I've been here for going on 4 hours
Seven hours! That is how long they had my husband waiting for outpatient surgery. Came in at 5am and he was taken in to surgery at 12:20. The same doctor still had two other surgical patients after my husband. One of those patients had asked for help and one of the nurses answering her nurse’s call button even became upset.
