They were such a blessing for my family. I can't say enough good things about the progress our son made while attending Hope.
The therapists are all very friendly! I really like how there are a lot of younger people working there who clearly keep their education current. I've had excellent communication between each therapist/director/coordinator I've spoken with. They've accommodated me with weekly *virtual* meetings (since I'm pretty busy with my 10 mo. old) and even offered to meet in person/more often if I felt it was necessary. This place is terrible and I can’t even believe I let my son stay as long as I did. So Courtney was my son’s first BCBA, we had to ask for a new one after she called my son “hard to love”. My son is autistic and nonspeaking and is EXTREMELY loving, the fact that she compared him to a verbal little girl saying “she’s easier to love” is the most abusive, ableist thing I’ve ever heard. I had my son evaluated in April 23 for Speech and OT. He had been in OT for two years that end in November 23. I was told he did not qualify for either that he was normal range. I questioned that he had received OT for two years. I questions is expressive and receptive language. Two months later, my son was diagnostic with severe speech and OT delays. Also diagnosed Autistic in July. They told me my son tested normal. To get a diagnosis as severe when I was told he does not meet criteria for services makes me feel like there... read more
For 6 months I have received nothing but runaround for my daughter's speech therapy. I would never recommend this company as a single mom. My daughter is almost 4 and I 1st contacted them for speech therapy 8 months ago and still have not received any therapy or information at any stage of the process. Its been absolutely ridiculous and the worst part is my child is the one getting the real shaft.
