So here’s my amazing journey into the unknown of cleaning my life up. I was greeted at the airport by the CEO / Lou and the ride back to the Ranch was filled with great conversation and he started this journey. Then when arrived I met Tanya who checked me in to the Ranch I was a bit nervous because of the two front gates but she and Lou made me feel so welcome. Couldn’t have picked a better rehabilitation center, the owners, staff, facilitators, are all extremely educated and knowledgeable of the recovery process. They’ve created the best possible environment to support and care for us throughout our stay. My 13 days at “Hope”: Detox was successful. Excellent therapists. I’m grateful. But.. A medical condition that was under control before and *within a day after* I left Hope ranch, was not appropriately managed while I was there despite my advocating for it. It was terrifying. I was bleeding and needed medication to control it for several months to gain strength back to be ready for surgery. 3 stars because it was so traumatic to Be at the Hope Ranch that I never want to relapse and have to go thru residential treatment again... read more
