Genuinely unimpressed for the cost! Service was mediocre, our glasses were empty more than they were full. Food was meh- rice was cold, bread was stale, and steak was undercooked, not that our server would know because we weren't checked on until we were more than half done.
It wasn't busy, the waitress was nice. Caribbean pork chops were delicious, single small crab cake wasn't worth $18.
The atmosphere is worth the stop! I dined here last September while on a trip to the UP, 6:30pm on a Friday. I didn’t need to reserve and only waited a short time to be seated at the bar as I was alone. Bar seating is a little tight-spaced. The whitefish rangoons were delicious! The ladies seated next to me were also from out of town and were making great conversation with everyone in the bar area.
