Food was good....service was terrible. We have eaten there several times and it was always great in every way. Tonight we had to ask for silverware and water ...after the 40 min.wait, and then the staff acted annoyed that we had asked. Too bad.
I've been going to The Hook for years and in the beginning it was great. The last few years service has been going downhill, and this time had the walleye, which I've fished for and filleted myself so I know it's not rocket science. I quit counting at a dozen bones (it's billed as deboned) and one I got caught in my throat and almost choked. When I informed the waiter he brushed it off. When we arrived the host was not friendly just told us to "come on" and she sat us. We had to wait a very long time to get a drink and the server was not attentive. Not impressed will not go back. Food was alright but the service will make us not return.
Theresa Our waitress was awesome! She took care of us & gave us the choice s we wanted for a great dinner! The Lobster Mac was wonderful & the crab cakes were delicious! Great atmosphere being right on the lake!! Love it! Thank you Theresa!
