The sashimi and miso were better than average. Unfortunately 20+ minute wait times, practically none-existent service, inflated prices and a mandatory undisclosed 20% gratuity in a restaurant centered around take-out and private karaoke make it clear that your dinning experience is an afterthought, one where you’ll first me subjected to, (judging by other reviews mentioning forced 20% gratuity) gross repeated incompetence at best / blunt in your face scamming at worst and most likely. ✊🏿I’m not planning to return. I remember being seated and having a cup of water brought to me (no straw). To order, I had to scan a QR code, and I still had to order from the front because the website didn’t have all the available options. Plus, it wouldn’t let me pay online, but it did allow me to choose a tip amount. When I received the bill, the tip was more than what I had selected, and the server informed me that the system automatically set it to 20% when I initially had the option to choose 10%. Could you please explain how this particular establishment managed to accumulate favorable feedback? My personal experience with the cuisine served here was quite unpleasant, in fact, I found it to be rather terrible.
I ordered mango bubble tea from Uber Eats, and I can't believe they gave me a cup of mango juice with absolutely no milk or tea flavor. If it weren't for the black tapioca pearls at the bottom, I wouldn't even recognize it as bubble tea, and it cost $9.75! For this price, how could they give me such a terrible product?! I will never order from this shady restaurant again.
