First visit to HBH today. Very impressive operation Of course the ham is spectacular. Full flavored, easy to slice and serve and is always a holiday favorite. But I’ve never been to a company store like this!!! I just showed up and was only in the store for about 10 minutes. I left with an 8 lb ham for $103. I do have a few tips to offer. You can call ahead and prepay over the phone or use their website which will speed up your pickup process. Just a quick note for those of you who have never ordered Honey Baked's TURKEY before. Try it! We got the one pound package of the tender, sliced, moist and very very flavorful ROASTED Honey Baked turkey (not the smoked) plus the equally wonderful turkey gravy........and we can honestly say that in our 70+ plus years on Earth, we have never tasted anything better, including our mother's best efforts! Staff is very friendly. Service was good. Prime rib is good BUT false advertisement on their website. When you order the prime rib on the website it says $51.79 for 1 prime rib that's 2.5-3lbs. When you pick it up in store all the prime ribs are only 2lbs but they charge you for 2.5-3lbs. I ordered two prime ribs for thanksgiving and paid $104 for two 2lb prime ribs. They oversold a turkey that I reserved days before so I didn’t have one for thanksgiving. Very unprofessional.
I pre-ordered and paid last week, and gave a time off arrival. There are about 100 people waiting outside in a line, and it's not moving. Been here almost 30 minutes and the line has barely moved. Why do I have to stand in a line with others who did not pre-order and pay? If you don't mind waiting for hours in line, it might work for you. They do not honor the time for pickup that you select online when ordering.
