No less than 3 times in the past 3 months, we have called to check that scripts were ready to pick up, told they were…only to be told they were out of the medication when we showed up 7 minutes later. Life’s too short to have our time disrespected and be lied to on the phone. When community members switch to a non-Walmart option, to support local businesses, then are poorly served, it’s a shame. Hometown Pharmacy hours are not for the working person (closes at 6pm during the week, and limited hours on weekend). Also, when they moved into the old bank on Tuscarawas Road, they did not notify any of their customers that they could not dispense certain medications until they were inspected. Found this out after a pain med prescription had run out and couldn't be filled. Had to have new script sent to another pharmacy.
