We went for the restaurant, entertainment and food. Delicious! Dining area can get a bit loud if there's a large group while you are there. Sit in the bar area for a more intimate setting.
This place is such a gem! My partner and I absolutely loved our stay here. The whole house is such a beautiful historic home and is filled with so many wonderful pieces of art. We stumbled this inn and had no idea what to expect and will 100% be back. The owner and staff were all incredibly kind. The food in the tavern was delicious and the bartender was so kind and friendly. We will be recommending this to all of our friends planning a Maine trip in the future!
Great place, a little expensive, but you pay for the location and the historic property. The room was nice and clean. But make sure you READ what room you are getting because some rooms have to share a communal bathroom, but if you pay a little extra, you can get one of the rooms with its own bathroom. Even then, the one we stayed in shared a balcony with 3 other rooms. We were in room 6. But it was a historic house that was turned into a B&B.
