Not too bad of a place. Seated quickly, food was ordered and at the table promptly. Waiter never came back to check on us and the food was nothing to write home about. Very basic breakfast items. I'm writing this as we sit here. Also must be an old folks convention in town because every blue hair and silverback within 50 miles is here.
Order beef & noodles (the special) and a piece of cherry pie. Beef and noodles had no flavor and mashed potatoes were more of a dry clump of paste. Use real potatoes for God's sake! Also I had to spit out about a 1/3 of the beef as it could not be chewed up. The cherry pie was comparative to those $0.30 pies you get at the dollar store filled with a flavored gel. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED!
I ordered just a basic bacon cheese burger and fries. It was a great meal for the price. I had 3 separate employees say hello to me while i was waiting for me food. I will go back for sure!
Good American comfort food. You've had it all before, but sometimes you gotta have a good hot beef sandwich or chicken-fried steak and this place fills that need. No surprises here but dependable, good diner food. On a down note, they are seriously understaffed here and you will wait a while for everything.
I WILL ONLY GO TO THIS ONE!!!
