I purchased a dryer in January from the Claremont Home Depot. I have since lost my purchase receipt. The dryer recently stopped functioning properly, but I need the receipt to qualify for the warranty. I called the Home Depot and Mary at the customer service desk was very helpful, and helped me track a receipt from five months ago. I am very thankful they keep better track of these things than I do!
In general I like Home Depot...but this location in Claremont has the largest collection of people that don't know the meaning of customer service! Case in point, last spring we had to reseal our driveway and went to the Home Depot to purchase it. We needed 5 5-gallon buckets worth. I asked one of the workers where it was and he pointed it out. It was not in a location that I could maneuver my cart to. He then proceeded to talk to one of his other co-workers about how he would be leaving in 20 minutes or so and couldn't wait... read more
