Bennington's store is a "Home Depot Lite." This means, when I have to travel to the Albany area to get things the Bennington one doesn't stock my choices of stores greatly expands to other retailers besides HD. Currently, I'm finding their SPF lumber to be better quality than Curtis, but that's likely to change. Staff has been very knowledgeable and helpful.
moved back up to VT about 4 months ago after almost 20 years, One of the worst managed Home Depot’s I think I’ve ever been to. Constantly out of stock as they sell to a large area so you would think you would stock more inventory, very limited selections, serving a large area, not contractor friendly. Staff is friendly and front end managers are good though, as it shows they do what they can with what limited support they have.
Expensive, but good.
