I was trying to check out at self check out this evening around 8pm, as i was attempting to check out the card reader was unable to read my cards chip. I then am actively removing my card and trying to tap it thinking maybe it was a tap reader. As i am doing this the employee working the self check out comes up behind me and yells at me to “GET OFF MY PHONE AND PAY ATTENTION” and then reads out to me exactly what the card reader is saying like I am illiterate. I had a terrible customer service experience at the Home Depot in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina today. I purchased a $12 fluorescent tube lightbulb yesterday at another Home Depot and I attempted to return it in Mount Pleasant without a receipt. I was immediately told that they could not accept the return because they didn’t stock that particular bold in their store in Mount Pleasant. I said well I’m an hour and a half from Murrells Inlet and was told well, You’ll have to return it there. I have returned many items at Home ... read more
