mb A few years ago my husband built an enclosed 10' x17' deck for my mother. We purchased all of our products from the Home Depot in Jamestown. We had no trouble finding what we needed and were helped tremendously by the employees. They cut things to the size needed. Sometimes the best wood was hard to find, but we were more than happy with the results. My Mom absolutely loves her deck.
Needs Improvement This store has to be one of the worst managed H-D's in the country. This past weekend was the last time I bothered to try. I give them credit for having people available now to ask for help (sometimes), but the quality of their lumber and high prices on blind items are an indicator that they think you are trapped to shop there. If you really want better quality make the trip to Warren and go to Lowe's. Lowe's is a bit pricier on some lumber items but they will price match anybody +10% I am not bashing the w... read more
What a mess!!! I love Home Depot for it's selection and prices on alot of things but their garden center is sad. The place is always a mess and half the time the stuff is dying already. The inside of the store is horrendous! There is stuff in the aisles all the time. No one seems to know where anything is or who belongs to what department. I hate having to go in there and get stuff because of the disorganization. PROS: Great prices and selection CONS: Mess and chaos.
