What a dump! Was there 15 min. before they opened at 6PM and the parking lot was littered with dozens of shopping carts. All of the parking spaces nearest to entrance were taken but I was the only customer at that time which obviously means this manager is more concerned about his employee's comfort than convenience for his customers. Inside, most aisles were littered with debris, some shelving had products all jumbled up. This is a very busy store and it is disorganized, so it can be frustrating to get service, but we must be mindful that the associates here are overwhelmed and understaffed, so try to put ourselves in their shoes and be respectful. In a broader scope, it is the management's responsibility. The cashiers are very friendly and great, there is this one tall, young man, he is very fast!
took a paint sample in to be matched as they advertise that they offer this service.I am a 20 yr pro with extensive knowledge of the entire field.I have had paint match at HD many times over the yrs.The employee says the sample cant be matched when I know well that it can.She offers an explanation which I understood perfectly but it didnt hold water in this case.The manager is called and of course follows her "expert advice"I take the EXACT SAME sample to another HD and they match the sample perfectly ,1st try,15 mins in/out... read more
My Electricion sent me to Home Depot in altoona with a list that I knew , pretty much about nothing on the list , I spoke with a store rep in the electrical department , I believe his name was ken , he did an excellent job he took the list and within 15 minutes he had every item on the list on my cart, turned out he used to be an Elctrican for 40 years , great service
The garden center here is awful. How hard is it to water your plants? It's your job and everything is dying!
The pro - the staff is consistently friendly and very helpful. I would give staff associates 5 stars. But the parking is a nightmare and the store is smaller than most Home Depots. Correspondingly, it is very cluttered and has a more limited selection than most Home Depots.

Your Service STINKS . Was ignorded at service desk she took several customers before me ,she saw me standing there had to raise my voice to get attention . Went to contractor desk to Place an order asked if wanted early or late delivery said early between 8am /12pm. NEXT DAY CALLED TO ADD ON AT 1:15 AT 10 MINUTES TO 3 STORE CALLED AND SAID THEY WERE TO BUSY TO CALL IT IN AND IT WAS TO LATE DELIVERY CLOSES AT 2 . Called at 12 TODAY to find out about order SAID I WAS MISTAKEN THEY DELIVER BETWEEN 8AM - 5PM. I HAVE NEVER HEARD ... read more
