Poor management skill leads to poor customer services – Home Depot doesn't empower their employees. Therefore, manager levels are afraid to make any sensible decision to win customer satisfaction.
Lowest Price on flooring – I shopped all over Raleigh and online and found the lowest price on real hardwood at Home Depot. The "total" price at some other places was almost double the Home Depot price. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and did way more than they had to do to help me with a small problem of finding the perfect curved trim that would match the existing floor. They even called the Home Depot credit company and got me 12 months no interest on the materials and installation.

NOT RECOMMENDED – My "Recommender" isn't working. Don't waste your time with these pushy sales people! Unless you want to overpay an arm and leg! For example: "Installation" on a heat pump is $400-$500 at Home Depot and only about $250 at Lowe's. Talk about over pricing. Call around and before you commit to anything with Home Depot.
