Wrong information On 4/4/10 I called the home depot on 54st.in Chandler,az looking for a specific weed trimmer my husband wanted..We live about 35 miles from this store, and it is the closeset. We did not want to make the trip if it was unavailable. The lady assured they had that model, she checked the system, and again assured me. My husband made the trip to be told they only had two demo models, and offered him 10% off.. It didn't have a charger. Then send him to another store further out... Was I pleased... No.. Tool Rental Rocks- A+ Service- Joe in Tool Rental was very patient and helpful! I was able to rent the Home Depot truck with my credit card, proof of insurance, and drivers license, which saved me tons of money, $69 for 24 hour truck rental, all I had to do was replace the gas I used, and no charge for mileage!!! Saved me at least $250, compared to Uhaul! He called back, when the truck became available! He made my move so much easier, on me & my pocket book!! I love this store!! Joe is the week-end warrior in tool rental!
Home depot Friendly cordial employees that will help you fidn materials or answer a question when you can find them. It is a big place to work and employees are sometimes scarce.
