I've always been a fan of home depot. I have been 4 times in the last week and all the associates have been great. One in particular, his name is Quinten and works in lumber. He has gone out of his way to help me and his attitude is always pleasant. The associates are what make Home Depot my go to place.

It’s out of my way to go here, but they have better quality wood, and they have those hard to find items the other lumber yard doesn’t have. Service is better here than the other lumber yard but that isn’t saying much. At least I was asked if I needed any help twice here. In the past month I have spent about a thousand between both lumber yards and neither had employees that offered to help load. I wish Home Depot would build on the North side of Abilene. I came in with a disabled child in a wheelchair and a 5 year old on Black Friday (I know, ambitious!) However, the 5 year old really wanted a nativity scene she had saw and I a new tree. We were approached by a gentleman named Mike while looking for the nativity. They were out of stock outside of the display. He disassembled the display from the top rack, stayed with me through check out (again, it's black Friday) and helped load everything into my vehicle. I went to the garden center I know it may be late in the year but was checking to see if they had any rosebushes on sale the employee was rude and said that there is no rose bushes and that its to late in the year for any I then went to Lowes and they had what I needed and being at late in the year at a discount price.
