I was looking for a bookshelf at Home Depot. i spoke with a salesperson and he suggested the HDX NSF metal shelves. I made it a point to find out and find out how difficult to assemble the shelves (I purchased two). The salesperson said that all you have to do is "slid the sleeves into it." I was burned because I ordered a bookshelf online from another source, and it was a nighmare. I went to the Home Depot at 5025 Jericho Tpke Commack NY, I was looking for a broadcast spreader for my husband there was a young lady asking me if I needed help I said yeas do you know where the lawn spreaders are she said sure follow me she brought to them I picked out the larger spreader but realized I needed a cart Jay who is the lady's name came back with a wagon for me! Home Depot computerized appliance order system performs very poorly. On two occasions I have made in-store appliance purchases that store employees seem unable to get system to work properly. Thus, entered appliance orders seem to magically disappear or lock up / not process. Recently, the order would nit process, then disappeared from their system. I recently had a very large tree fall on my home and it destroyed my home. On December 26th I had to replace my kitchen appliances. I ordered a refrigerator and a dishwasher. Home depot told us that they would be here on 1/2/26. We'll the 2nd came and went and no fridge and no dishwasher. Home depot said that they had been rescheduled to the 7th. We had an excellent experience with Michelle Johnson at the North Belair location in Evans, GA. We purchased a garage door on 9/13/2025 and was informed we would receive a call within 2 business days. We were concerned because we did not receive a call from Clopay. Michelle remembered me from the prior week inquiring about the garage door. She was surprised that I did not receive a call from that period of time.
