Home Depot Before Lowes came along I only went to the Home Depot. They do carry much of the same items as Lowes but Lowes is newer and brighter and more modern than the Home Depot. I still go to the Home Depot when I can’t find something at Lowes, but Lowes is my first stop. Home Depot does have a very good return policy and they will take plants back up to one years time which is good because I don’t have a green thumb.
