Lovely spot for engagement photos! Beautiful space, reasonable price and the owners are very easy to work with!
As a Photographer and Owner of Moira Grace Photography I have greatly enjoyed capturing photos at The Holt House, it is a beautiful historic venue with all the charm of southern hospitality. Their values and venue are both beautifully crafted. The bridal suite is well lit and lovely to get ready in, the grooms space gives a rustic charm, the ceremony options are all gorgeous, and the reception spaces are lovely. I get excited when couples book their weddings with me here, I look forward to being back soon!
I got married at The Holt House in May 2024 and had a wonderful experience all-around. Nia was so kind to work with and truly helped make my wedding vision come to life. Nia and Jera did our florals which exceeded expectations. The florals were a very important part of the wedding to me and it was difficult for me to envision what everything would look like once it came together, but Nia and Jera nailed my vision! I cannot recommend The Holt House enough. We were originally going to host our wedding in Blowing Rock but due to hurricane Helene, we had less than a week to change gears or have to reschedule our wedding. As soon as I knew Blowing Rock was no longer an option, I reached out to Nia and Jera asking if they had my date available. They responded in less than 2 hours letting me know that my date was available (my wedding was on a Sunday.)
