The Hive is a nice and safe place to live in Iowa City, but there are some things you should know before moving in. It’s a very money-driven complex that seems to care more about profit than residents. The pricing is extremely high for Iowa, can be around $1,900 a month for a one-bedroom and since it’s not rent-stabilized, they increased the rent even more when I tried to renew.
