The Hitching Post. Wow! Hands down the best steak experience I’ve ever had. I went for the first time with friends and very high expectations and was not disappointed. Great food. Lots of history.
We just had the best experience at The Hitching Post! Our group of 4 arrived shortly after five o'clock, was greeted by the hostess, and then immediately seated in the center of the dining room. I wish I could remember the names of all the staff who waited on us. They were like a pit crew at a drag race (maybe not so frantic) as they filled our water glasses, took our drink orders, offered a relish tray and bread, etc. We felt so taken care of. Amazing steaks in a "ghost town" stuck in time. The chef even comes out to visit with patrons. So cool!
