Cute and quaint store This is an adorable little local store. They have a great selection of Town merchandise, like handpainted Reading ornaments and they have lots of charming collectibles and decorations. They usually have a good sale after Christmas. The prices are average, considering the merchandise is quite unique.
Looking for the "perfect gift"? One of the nicest stores in Reading. Their merchandise is unique and beautiful.....the store to shop for that "perfect gift". I love their greeting cards too! They carry a large selection of Reading, Mass gifts from the wooden buildings to Christmas items. They have lovely jewelry you won't find anywhere else. The staff is welcoming and friendly.....and helpful with suggestions. I guarantee you will have a pleasurable shopping experience.....and fun!

You can always find the perfect gift at the Hitching Post. They have many local themed or locally made items. This Christmas I gave my adult nephew the American Benchcraft Sleigh Bell door hanging and I received the same gift back from his parents! Great minds think alike. Ha!

Great local shop with awesome unique gifts from artist local & in the USA. Lots of made in the USA items & Reading town gifts. Employees are fun, friendly & know a lot about all their gifts! If you haven't taken a visited it's a must!
The Hitching Post Gift Shop has so many unique items to give as gifts or keep yourself. May it be for a teacher, client, family or a yankee swap you will find a gift here. The quality of the products are superb. I just purchased the Healing Touch ceramic mug for my friends. They loved them and it is my favorite mug to use each morning. Give them a try you will not be disappointed.
