We couldn’t have asked for a better venue and team for our wedding celebration! Linda and Meghann were absolutely amazing throughout the entire planning process. They helped coordinate so many moving pieces and vendors — including our florals, tarot card reader, photo booth, dinner, DJ, sparklers and even our alligator disco ball! I hosted a corporate event for customer here during a large conference being held at the Convention Center. The venue is so incredibly unique and was perfect for 120 guests. The bar on both floors really helped with the flow of guest, as well. The passed appetizers and food stations were excellent. The Historic Swoop-Duggins was the perfect place for my husband and I to hold our wedding celebration! The house is beautiful all on its own and has a lot of interesting history, which was a major draw for us as we wanted to have a very New Orleans-style wedding. The proprietor/GM, Linda Novak, guided us through all the options and offered recommendations and helpful tips for vendors and second line bands.
