My husband & I stayed here for almost 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house has a picnic table out front and a wonderful front porch with swing and rocking chairs. There’s a washer/dryer in the basement, which we used. We were there to help out with child care for 2 grandkids (infant & toddler) who live nearby. The house was very kid friendly. We really enjoyed our stay at the Himalayan Lodge. It was like being in Nepal or at the foot of Everest without actually having to go there tons of fun little things and every single room and everything you could possibly need for having a great time in Ann Arbor.
I visited The Himalayan Lodge with a group of friends for a football weekend. The house is really well located in a quiet, residential neighborhood about a 10 min walk from Main Street and 30 min from the Big House. It comfortably fit the 4 of us and is quintessentially Ann Arbor eclectic. We'll definitely be back!
Spent five nights here. Great location. Clean. Private. Quiet. Safe. The owner is a long term Ann Arbor resident and deeply integrated into the community. I appreciated that money spent here stays local. The home is full of personality and will be a memorable part of your visit.
