We really enjoyed our stay at the Himalayan Lodge. It was like being in Nepal or at the foot of Everest without actually having to go there tons of fun little things and every single room and everything you could possibly need for having a great time in Ann Arbor.
I visited The Himalayan Lodge with a group of friends for a football weekend. The house is really well located in a quiet, residential neighborhood about a 10 min walk from Main Street and 30 min from the Big House. It comfortably fit the 4 of us and is quintessentially Ann Arbor eclectic. We'll definitely be back!
Spent five nights here. Great location. Clean. Private. Quiet. Safe. The owner is a long term Ann Arbor resident and deeply integrated into the community. I appreciated that money spent here stays local. The home is full of personality and will be a memorable part of your visit. The kitchen is well equipped - including a full fridge, oven, microwave, etc. We were able to cook every meal. The bed was firmer than I'd prefer, comparable to a 2 star hotel. What a fabulous place to stay! The Himalayan Lodge is such a welcoming and cozy choice for accommodation. It’s a real Ann Arbor gem with lots of character, charm and all the comforts of home. With a central yet quiet location and a friendly and knowledgeable host, it’s ideal!
Great place!! Really nice location close to downtown but in a quiet neighborhood, loved time on the front porch and the lawn picnic table in the evenings. Very easy to get keys and get in, very clean, decorations were amazing (thank you note from Obama!!), would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again.
