I spent two weeks at the Hills and I had a great experience. The facility, physio and staff are professional, polite and kind and they helped me to feel better about my recovery. Dr. Obeid has a patient and warm personality and is always ready to listen. They even surprised me with a cake for my birthday and another lady who had been there before told me they had done the same with her. I definitely recommend this hospital based on my experience.
On arrival I was met by Rob (customer service liaison) who was very pleasant. Hospital is average on appearance but that is because it has been around for a while. My room was placed directly across nurses station and it was noisy but my issue wasn’t that, it was tne room itself, extremely warm when door was shut . Just advised how things will be when you arrive at this hospital. I had both knees replaced & you can imagine my horror finding how bad things are here & then leaving 2 days after getting here it was that bad. 1- Total disorganisation 2- Nothing is prepared for your arrival 2- Rationing of body wash wipes 3- Shortage of food 4- Aid equipment that looked like it was picked up out of the tip 5- Aid equipment that is well under weight rated & not safe to use 6- Told by nurse to turn buzzer of for her 7- Bed frame thrown togethe... read more
