Unfortunately, my experience with the receptionist was disappointing. Her phone manner was very abrupt and the tone came across as quite harsh. I understand that communication styles can differ, but when dealing with new mothers and other potentially vulnerable people, a bit more patience and empathy would go a long way. The receptionist was very rude when trying to book in an appointment. We made a genuine mistake of accepting an appointment date that we immediately realised clashed with another appointment. Asked the receptionist for the next available but instead of accepting our apology and moving on, she went on to berate us and complain to us about changing dates etc. She lacks patience and honestly made us, as new time sleep-deprived parents, feel unnecessarily like we ruined her whole day even though we apologised.

The staff at the Hills Community Health Centre were friendly and helpful, but the wait times were longer than expected. The care I received was fine, though it felt a bit rushed. Overall, it’s a decent place for basic medical needs, but there’s room for improvement in scheduling and communication.

We've had a wonderful experience with The Hills Community Health. The nurses are incredibly friendly, caring, and truly committed to their work. They always go above and beyond to provide support and ensure everything is well taken care of. My mum feels very comfortable and happy with the care she’s receiving, and that means the world to us. Don't understand what the receptionists problem is. At the end of the conversation just hang up, no bye or anything. Rude. And telling me what I should be doing with my life. You could easily cause someone to spiral emotionally. Edit: and they didn't even pass on a message properly.
