This longtime neighborhood tavern and retreat for local working class folk has become a focal point of the Chicago bar/pub scene, and was recently listed in Rolling Stone magazine as Best Of Chicago, and for good reason. Cozy , nice people, good music
Beautiful place inside. However, new bartenders are needed. They do not know how to mix AT ALL. 90% alcohol, 10% flavor. Come on now. I can make a better drink myself.
Cozy bar with a great back space for variety of events. I ve seen bands, live interviews on stage, just was there for Heart_of_chicago_soul_club Dance party.
