I have lived here for 10 years and I love my apartment. RDI is always responsive to any issues that come up. Although, to be quite honest, I have had very few. The location can't be beat and the apartment itself is nicely outfitted.

I rented an apartment in The Hickory building from Mr. Markstahler with RDI properties for multiple years. I loved the apartment and the renting experience with RDI. Excellent location in downtown Champaign. My apartment had an open floor plan living area with updated appliances, a tankless water heater, and high-speed internet for no extra charge. Lived at the Hickory for several years. Lots of reasons to enjoy living here: -Great, responsive management -Very convenient to downtown Champaign -Comfortable, spacious apartment

I lived in The Hickory for two years, from 2019-2021, and it was a great experience. Maintenance calls were answered quickly, there were no weird or unexpected fees, and utility bills were low, even with big windows and high ceilings. I was really grateful for the robust internet and generous square footage when the pandemic happened and I had to spend so much time at home. The apartment was a great value for the money, and I can't recommend this building and landlord enough.
