Loved our stay at the Hiatus in Clearwater Beach! Check-in and check-out were super easy. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable, and the location is perfect—with the beach right across the street and plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The views were amazing, and the whole experience was stress-free. Highly recommend!
We had the pleasure of staying at The Hiates in Clearwater Beach in room 601, and the experience was exactly what we needed. The views from our room were absolutely stunning, we especially enjoyed watching the storms roll through from the balcony. My wife was in a wheelchair during our stay, and we were so grateful for how accommodating and attentive the staff was. At first we were super impressed and super happy with our hotel stay. We liked it so much that we added a second night. Upon waking up to catch the pool and beach before we left. However, we were greeted by some “sea bugs” however most people just call them cockroaches. Upon going up to the front desk the lady up front was not helpful and wanted to charge my account and she changed her tune as soon as I asked for a manager and was being super nice. Beware of Valet Parking! We spent the weekend and had a wonderful time. The bartenders and wait staff were amazing. The room was spacious and very comfortable. When we picked up our car to drive home there was a dent and scratch on the passenger door. We pointed it out and gave the valet all our information. They said they would submit a claim and that the hotel manager would call us in a few days. A few days later we received an email stating our claim was denied and never heard from the hotel manager.
