The guy acted like he was giving me a discount, because I called close to 12am asking for a room, but looking now it wasn’t a discount at all. He then messaged us to tell us where the key was but it wasn’t there, we got there at 3am, he did not ask how many people would be with me I did not know I had to say I had kids with me. Good thing the door was open. Room was nice, we fell asleep, my boyfriend woke up to go get breakfast then the guy got mad and charged us 100 because we had a baby and a 7year old! The Heron Inn and Day spa is absolutely the loveliest place I have ever stayed. Located in quaint La Conner, it only adds to the ambience of the town. The staff is amazing. They really do go above and beyond. I've traveled the whole country and the hospitality is unparraled. The courtyard is like an oasis. Massages are available. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. If you are lucky enough to stay here you will come back.
Stayed early March celebrating my wife's birthday. Even though the weather didn't cooperate, we had a wonderful two night getaway. Breakfast was a delight, massages were excellent and the staff was friendly and attentive. Thanks for a really pleasant stay.
A Lovely restored Victorian. The rooms a nicely appointed and beautifully decorated. The service is exceptional. Olin knows how to make a delicious breakfast. The backyard is a little oasis. Highly recommended.
Staying here while my wife attends a King Arthur Baking School class (15 minutes away). From the moment we arrived we've had a wonderful time. The staff members we've interacted with have been uniformly friendly and have gone out of their way to be helpful. The bed is the most comfortable hotel bed I can recall sleeping on.
