The Helm has been a great place to grow within this field! I came here with no background in ABA but the helm has took so much time to foster a better understanding of the science as well as teaching me all the things to conduct safe, ethical, and effective treatment with all my clients !
Unfortunately, my experience with The Helm ABA has been very disappointing. While I had high hopes for their support, I quickly realized that this center functions more like a business than a place genuinely focused on children’s long-term development. They regularly assign very young and inexperienced techniciansto work one-on-one with children, often lacking the maturity or training needed for this responsibility. The Helm has been an absolute godsend for us. Every staff member is fully invested in the care and success of every kiddo. It has been transformative for us, and we would absolutely recommend them.

Their wisdom has enabled us to help our son become the boy he was meant to be. I’m pretty disappointed. I chose this place because of a referral. I filled out their extensive paperwork becaue I was told we’d start the intake process after that. Twice I was Told by Tamara I’d be called back just to be blown off. I know They’re a small company, but it really felt like I was Given the run around. Was told they were waiting on my insurance when I called Back to follow up but and then the next sentence was told “I wish we could help everyone”. my Insurance said they haven’t heard from them.
