My family have been coming here for years. The food is simple and satisfying for all. The service is fine and cannot complain other than they close for the winter.

The Helm served my child RAW chicken. She would have taken a bite of RAW chicken if I hadn’t noticed just in time, from across the table, that the meat under the breading was shiny and pale pink, not opaque. I sent it back, and they refried it without an apology, and the restaurant owner re-served it to me. When I suggest they do better next time, she laughed at me. No refund was offered.
