Meritage Home is my third new construction home but so far it was the worst buying and purchasing experience. They promised us a quality home but they used cheap products or leftover materials from other houses to complete our home. Our house looks nice but everything starts falling apart after 5 months and their warranty will fight to fix their defects. Their customer service especially dealing with the warranty is so terrible. Hard time with your home warranties

We have had nothing but issues since we closed. Our a/c unit has went out one month after our one year mark. Our upstairs subfloor has wholes in them and are they are loose and move as you walk. Our lights flicker and strobe everytime we do laundry and we were told that is normal. These are just a few of the problems we have and they still have not been addressed them. They do not honor warranty claims. They provide poor quality homes.
