A very disappointing and VERY expensive overnight stay we had last week at the Port Hedland Hotel!! We booked a “Superior Studio Room” (1 queen, 1 single) in advance and payed $459 for a 2 person stay overnight. ($100 more then paid for an apartment by the beach in Broome) Arriving early evening after a long drive from Broome, we were greeted coolish by reception staff who asked us for a $100 security bond on top to be reimbursed in 5 days!!
