Our Moms health declined quickly and we were looking for a close Memory care/Assisted living that would take her without interruption to her final day. The heathers was new and just opening there doors my Mom was welcomed with open arms. We were assured she could live out her days there. She spent 5 Months at the Heathers. Our father moved in this past June from another local Assisted Living facility. He's been improving/thriving since. The staff and caregivers are friendly, helpful and caring. The space is also set up in a way that is more like a home vs. an apartment with an emphasis on community! I've recommended The Heathers to friends.
The Heathers and their staff are outstanding. I can truly recommend this organization for long term and short term assisted living with the capacity to support hospice care. My mother had an extremely challenging year with a cancer diagnosis and prognosis that was not favorable. Don’t not work here if you are in the food industry and they want to hire you as a cook. The kitchen is right next the laundry room, so smell of soiled clothes waft in the kitchen all day and night. The pay is really bad even if you have 15 years experience. The Main manager is really hard to get along with. Stay clear if you’re trying to work there.
This is one of the “world’s best kept secrets”.My husband has been at this home away from home for three weeks now. It was a very difficult decision but I couldn’t be more pleased. The caregivers treat all the residents as if they were their own family, memory care residents and assisted living all mingle together, they watch out and care for each other. They all are loved. The food is great also and the facility clean and lovely. I recommend it highly.
