Gave specifics of our chimney and fireplace to owner who quoted a price to clean. Two young guys appeared on time, very nonprofessional, no ID, no uniform shirts etc. husband went over details to reconfirm. Guy immediately states it would be 100$ higher before one minute into door. When asked why , he said owner should have said that new price, and he must have said , “& up”, which he did not. RecommendedWOW! Great company and customer service! My gas fireplace would not light so I called the Hearth Doctor and all I can say that I will never consider using any other company but them. Patrick and his assistant came to the house and worked on the fireplace cleaning the lines and the interior as well. He was very knowledgeable and when I had questions about the workings of the switch and other workings of the fireplace Patrick took the time to explain in terms I could understand. A technician of this company visited my home in mid-October, performed the chimney inspection and provided feedback on what was found during the inspection. During our conversation about the company and the repairs they would perform, I requested an estimate. The young man said he would turn in the inspection to the owner and share with him my request for an estimate. He indicated that would be in the next 2-3 days.
