Treated the mother of a family member terribly with zero accountabilities response to complaints. If I was in their shoes I would be calling my attorney immediately. Be careful who you trust with your family members.
Don't send your loved one here if they need any kind of care. Nightmare experience all around for my friend and her mother. Her Mom isn't one to shed tears for any reason but they had her crying on a regular basis. So sad. It's difficult enough for the elderly to have to give up their home but then to find themselves in a nightmare of caregiving or lack there of is heartbreaking and traumatic for everyone involved. Don't do this to you and your loved one by entrusting their care to Greenpoint.

RecommendedI’m employed at The Hearth on James and I love it! The residents are wonderful people and the staff takes excellent care of them. The facility has everything necessary for a comforting and active lifestyle. The directors, nursing staff, housekeepers and maintenance staff, dining staff and activities staff are all focused on giving the residents the best experience.

My mother, Sue, moved in less than a month ago and so far is extremely happy. The food is great, the residence are friendly and the staff make sure everyone is having a good time. I talked to some people that have been there 6+ years. That surely says something. Keep up the good work!!!
I worked for The Hearth at Greenpoint for 7 years. Greenpoint is a wonderful place to work and live. The staff is the best at taking care of their residents with continuous training and education. It's very difficult when a family member gets old and requires additional care and assistance, but I know from my many positive experience with staff from all departments, residents and families, that everyone at Greenpoint does their best to make each and every resident feel at home. Live More!
