RecommendedI'm an RN and my grandparents live here. The Hearth has been very patient and supportive with them in times of struggle in the past. I am beyond impressed with their handling of COVID. It was my grandmother's 80th birthday last week and my cousins came and sang happy birthday through the window the day before the official lockdown (her actual birthday). They try too better living for everyone
Treated the mother of a family member terribly with zero accountabilities response to complaints. If I was in their shoes I would be calling my attorney immediately. Be careful who you trust with your family members.
Don't send your loved one here if they need any kind of care. Nightmare experience all around for my friend and her mother. Her Mom isn't one to shed tears for any reason but they had her crying on a regular basis. So sad. It's difficult enough for the elderly to have to give up their home but then to find themselves in a nightmare of caregiving or lack there of is heartbreaking and traumatic for everyone involved. Don't do this to you and your loved one by entrusting their care to Greenpoint.

I’m employed at The Hearth on James and I love it! The residents are wonderful people and the staff takes excellent care of them. The facility has everything necessary for a comforting and active lifestyle. The directors, nursing staff, housekeepers and maintenance staff, dining staff and activities staff are all focused on giving the residents the best experience.
