I cannot say enough good things about Patricia, SLP, of The Heart of Therapy. She has a true gift of connecting with children through what looks like play but in reality is a very carefully and intentionally planned therapy session. For example, she has worked with my son on boosting his vocabulary to improve his confidence in expressing himself, testing his comprehension of certain language, using correct prepositions (ex. “in” versus “out”), and practicing certain sounds. We recently had the pleasure of working with Ms. Trish, a speech therapist who came highly recommended. From our very first session, it was clear why. She possesses not only an in-depth understanding of speech therapy but also a remarkable ability to connect with children. After years of going through speech therapists for our daughter, Trish was the PERFECT fit for our closed off and hard to motivate daughter.
