My grandmother was here for a few days before she passed away. It was such a lovely home. The staff were amazing and caring. Not only did they care for her but they supported us as well. Special thanks to Katelynn for going above and beyond making sure my grandmother was able to be admitted. Thank you.
A dear friend utilized first their free equipment loan program, and then residential hospice at their facility for 3 weeks in December. I know other families who also have used their in-home services as well at the end of life. They also offer counselling and support initiatives for clients, caregivers, families and friends. I appreciate their caring and compassion!
The staff (Kaitlyn & Rachel etc.) were exceptional and truly went above and beyond during a very difficult time for our family. The care and support they provided to my mother was second to none. I highly recommend The Heart of Hastings Hospice for anyone considering hospice care. Amazing house and incredible staff!

This is a wonderful place to work. On a personal note: When my grandmother was in her final days, I reached out to Hospice and they moved in high speed to make space for her. Unfortunately my grandmother passed before transfer, but I will be forever grateful to Heidi and Dr. Webb as well as staff for moving so quickly to ready the newly renovated space in this beautiful home for her. When you put your family member in the hands of this incredible team of hospice staff - you can hang up your caregiver hat and be family again.
