This place only cares about getting paid.had appointment for over a month and few days before appointment they said insurance is out of network.so they canceled my appointment on the 16th.all they said was sorry nothing I can do.i have high blood pressure and hypertension etc.i now have to find a doctor.that will find a new heart doctor with out dying in mean time.take your loved ones elsewhere. They should be sued.
Dr. Weiss was wonderful, after my wife nearly died under the care of Baylor Scott & White during labor Dr. Weiss over saw her heart recovery. She got check ups for four years with him at the Heart Group McKinney. But when she went to schedule her next appointment they had no record she was a patient. I contacted Baylor Hospital and got her medical records but it lacked the four years under the Heart Groups care. The Heart Group Mckinney wanted her to proceed as a result as a new patient. Dr. Paul Karagiannis providedthe worst experience I have ever had with a physician. He was so condescending and arrogant that I don't think he has ever heard the words "bedside manner." I brought my mother to see him for an on-going issue that has been managed well until this doctor decided to take her off a medication that works for her because HE doesn't like the medication. My husband showed up for his appointment ON TIME only to be denied being seen because for this specific appointment he supposedly needed to be there 15 minutes early. Oh and the next appointment is weeks away. Problem is no one EVER told him he had to be early for this particular appointment. They claim someone should’ve called him to tell him this ahead of time but no one did. While what he’s dealing with isn’t an ER emergency, it still needs attention, not waiting weeks and weeks!!! I have had the unique experience of having procedures done by three different doctors in this practice, Issac, Marshall and Weiss. All are top notch professionals and Dr. Marshall and Issac both have been tremendously interested and innovative in helping me with my unique challenges over the years. Dr. Issac has saved my mother’s life this year with his spot on assessments and plan of action. Top notch professionals who care about their patients.
