Addendum: Okay, yes, the events I detailed below were incredibly annoying, but The Heart Center's director of operations switched my care to its managing physician, and now I feel I am in good, competent hands. This practice had to do just one thing -- send a prescription for heart medication to my pharmacy -- and it couldn't manage to get it done. Seeing steckman I Felt rushed, gaslit, misunderstood, not taken seriously, misdirected, disrespected.
I love my doctor! I had a heart attack and was treated in the hospital. I had a follow up here and everyone is so very nice! My doc is caring and thorough in my treatment plan. He listens to me and answers my questions and is just a down to Earth person.
This practice had to do just one thing -- send a prescription for heart medication to my pharmacy -- and it couldn't manage to get it done. Rude Rude Rude! The first I call the girl hung up on me after she told me she was too busy to call the doctors office. I had to fax my script 3 times. Then when they finally get the fax theres no the right info on it so they were going to reach out to the doctors. 2 weeks later I call and they said they had never recieved anything and they dont contacts the doctors offices. Again hung up with no goodbye!
