This restaurant is such a gem in Pocatello! Like other stores in old town, it breathes new life into an old building, which gives it a nice rustic atmosphere. We were helped by who I assumed were the two owners—they were so friendly and excited about what they had to offer. As a vegan, I truly appreciated their extensive plant-based menu ("We serve real food here, not rabbit food," one of the owners joked 😂). Second time eating at HPE and their gyro’s and fries are really tasty. I like the low key atmosphere there and we got to visit with the owner/mgr who is a super nice guy (I apologize for forgetting your name). Reasonable prices, tasty food, a good atmosphere and friendly service- check HPE out!
Great service and the BLTT was fire
Traveling nationwide and around the world, I look for fresh, homemade food with a little different twist. That’s what I found in Pocatello, Idaho. The first thing you notice is soft, relaxing piano music in a super clean cafe'. This place can’t decide if they are Greek or Latin - so they do both, and do it very well! What a great mix!
