My husband and I went to visit his grandfather who is there on hospice. He was in his room in a wheelchair and said he wanted to get into his recliner so he could take a nap so we pushed the call light and it took almost 10 mins for someone to come and when she finally did she was trying to lift him from the back of his sweatpants when he was wearing a gait belt, then kept just saying 'stand up' over and over when he clearly can't stand or walk on his own anymore and was struggling. I have had two family members who have had the best care in rehab, skilled nursing and assisted living. I can not say enough about how well people are cared for here! My Grandma had the best care I have seen in any assisted living. I work in healthcare, and AL'S. She lived at several before we found the right place. Her care has been exceptional even through end of life. Thank you for providing the absolute best care for my family!

I had very bad experience and finally spoke with the CEO after getting no resolution to several issues. There's a lot of disorganization, lack of communication among staff, there is a very real and scary problem with gossip and untruths, there seems to be little to no oversight to assure continuity of care, I was there for weeks to receive PT. My room was never cleaned including the bathroom. An O'Cedar broom was used to sweep along with a dust pan and my trash was taken daily. I had to ask to have my bedding changed and had... read more

I received excellent care at HealthCare Resort. I highly recommend it. I was there 30 days and experienced wonderful care from every single person I came in contact with. I’d like to name everyone, but I’m afraid I might leave someone out. The nurses and CNAs are compassionate and kind. The therapists care about you too. Wonderful people. I got better because of each and every person who took care of me! You won’t be disappointed if you go there! Thank you HealthCare Resort from the bottom of my heart!

Shawna is an absolute gem. Very caring, competent and pleasant. She made my uncle comfortable and was very pleasant to me and my sister. Thank you for making my uncle as comfortable as possible in a very difficult situation.
