I was diagnosed with solar urticaria a few months ago. Apparently this is extremely rare and traditional medicine is unable to do much to help other than taking antihistamines. I have been taking the equivalent of 36 x 1-a-day antihistamines each day and my allergy still flared up. I was told I had it for life.
