Not okay with front desk staff ridiculing or laughing at patients/students when they make a mistake about appointment times. Some patients are dealing with issues that spiral with the lack of customer care and empathy. Clearly a missed appointment due to confusion over time could be a sign there may be other issues to consider, such as concussion/memory issues etc. Completely unprofessional behaviour. As a parent of a patient, I am appalled.
I had a hamstring injury and the Health and Performance Centre was recommended to me. I am so glad it was. I was placed with Julie, who happened to have a similar athletic background to me, which I really appreciated. She helped me work through the injury and it is now almost fully healed. I did the prescribed exercises at home and trusted in the process, and it paid off. I also understand the areas in which I need to keep up ongoing strengthening to prevent a future hamstring injury.
