Very great and magical place highly recommended now every place has its flaws nursing could be better most mondays nurse isn’t in tell 9 am give very little time to get medication some days nurses weren’t there for long periods of time staff was short as well during my stay most staff working 12-16 hours a shift so could use improvement there hopefully things will change with there upcoming move but other than it’s a great stay friendly people

I was a client at 'THI' and completed their 50-day program in January 2026. As my 3rd inpatient treatment, it helped me find my way back to recovery with compassion, kindness, a new awareness of how much trauma fuels my addiction, and so many more skills I can use to show myself the kind of love needed to maintain long-term sobriety. Exactly one year ago today I rolled up to the gates of The Healing Institute on the side of that mountain - on Forbidden Plateau….I was broken to the point where I was literally ‘knocking on heavens door’ - the depression and the substance abuse had robbed me of any semblance of the life I used to have - there was no joy, no laughs, no happiness - this was my last chance to reverse or switch tracks to get my life back or I don’t think I would be around much longer……I owe my life to this place - words can never be enough to e... read more

When i went to Healing Institute about a year and a half ago I needed somewhere to escape and just heal .. I felt broken.. Every Recovery Center has positives and negatives and my experience was the positives outweighed the minor annoyances i experienced that occur to anybody attending a recovery center... The small numbers make it a comfortable and great environment to work through your problems and find a sense of peace..
