The IOP here gave me structure without requiring me to put my life completely on hold. The schedule was intensive enough to be meaningful and realistic enough to actually stick to. Solid program, no fluff.

The therapy side of the program here is more comprehensive than I expected. They use approaches like CBT and DBT, and the work is trauma-informed, which meant it wasn't surface-level. The clinical team clearly understood that addiction rarely exists in isolation, there's usually something underneath it. The way treatment was structured reflected that.

Figuring out what your insurance covers for treatment can feel like a full-time job. I was relieved that someone here could actually walk through the options with me. They work with several major carriers and knew what questions to ask. It took a lot of stress out of an already stressful process.

One of the things that set this place apart for me was that they actually address mental health alongside addiction rather than treating them as two separate problems. A lot of programs don't do that well. Here, the dual diagnosis support felt integrated into everything, not just an add-on. If you're dealing with both, it makes a real difference to be somewhere that understands that connection.
